A Japanese start-up has launched a $680,000 (£495,000) high-tech hoverbike on Wednesday.
The ALI Applied sciences’ XTurismo Restricted Version counts electronics large Mitsubishi and footballer Keisuke Honda amongst its backers.
The Tokyo-based firm needs to have manufacture 200 single-rider 300kg (47-stone) hoverbikes by mid-2022.
Every is powered with a traditional engine and 4 battery-powered motors.
“Till now, the selection has been to maneuver on the bottom or at scale within the sky,” ALI Applied sciences chief govt Daisuke Katano stated.
“We hope to supply a brand new technique of motion.”
