
The Ukrainian authorities have arrested a senior supervisor on the Chernobyl nuclear energy plant after being accused of “subversive actions towards Ukraine” in serving to “the Russian navy in capturing Chernobyl in late February.”
The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) confirmed that the supervisor who was the deputy of the nuclear energy plant has been arrested and detained.

The DBR mentioned in an announcement, “The serviceman fled the station and didn’t present bodily safety for the ability, which was a part of his useful duties.
“DBR officers are additionally investigating the potential involvement of the official in finishing up subversive actions towards Ukraine.
“Particularly… whether or not he assisted the Russian navy in capturing Chernobyl in late February.”
They added, “DBR officers in co-operation with SBU (Safety Service of Ukraine) officers performed searches within the administrative premises of the Chernobyl Nuclear Energy Plant.
“A number of searches had been performed on the place of residence of the defendant.
“Paperwork and digital media had been seized in the course of the investigation.”
