
Final evening a Van Gogh portray was stolen from the Singer museum in Laren, the Netherlands which has been closed amid the coronavirus lockdown.
Burglars entered the museum at 3:15 native time, and the museum confirmed the Van Gogh was stolen, however nothing else was touched.
In keeping with native reviews the portray was “The Vicarage Backyard” which was loaned from the Groninger Museum.
The art work that includes the vicarage backyard in Nuenen within the spring of 1884, titled “Spring Backyard” was stolen.
Museum director Jan Rudolph de Lorm mentioned he’s “shocked and extremely p****d off” following the theft of the portray.
Lorm mentioned, “That is extraordinarily troublesome, particularly in these occasions.”
In keeping with the museum the safety acted “solely in keeping with protocol.”
